METS acquires independent mining consultancy group CDMS

mets.jpgMineral Engineering Technical Services Pty Ltd (METS) has announced the successful acquisition of Contract Design and Management Services (CDMS), a leading provider of mechanical and structural engineering services to the mining and oil and gas industries. METS are a Perth-based independent specialist consulting group that provides a range of services including, mineral processing, engineering design, training and specialist services to the mining industry.

Founded in 1986, CDMS have a long standing reputation in the mining, oil and gas industries as a quality consulting services provider to many major companies in the industry including Woodside, Chevron, BHP and Alcoa. The company comprises of engineers specialising in structural design, mechanical design, pressure equipment design verification, structural verification, maintenance, project management and product development. CDMS will continue to work on its existing projects and maintain its commitment to delivering quality service to their clients.
