The January issue of International Mining magazine will include our annual look at the latest technologies being used in the gold sector – exploration, mining, processing and environmental management. If you have news of innovations please send details to [email protected]. Already the draft article includes news of new ideas in cyanide production and management, simple processing systems for small projects, gravity separation practice, various new plants and more.

There will also be our annual articles on conveying technology (all the latest equipment and solutions) and South African technology and services – contact [email protected].

Rob ([email protected]) is working on an article on critical materials, examining the specialised methods  of extracting and processing some of the lesser known materials, from rare earths to lithium, cobalt, vanadium and others, covering projects from around the world.

That January issue also includes and article on Endeavour Mining, a specialist and growing West African gold producer. It owns four gold mines producing more than 450,000 oz/y in Mali (Tabakoto mine), Ghana (Nzema), Burkina Faso (Youga), and Côte d’Ivoire (Agbaou – the newest mine).
