Tata Steel has recently invested in additional simulators from Immersive Technologies for operator training. A customer for the past 14 years, Tata, says Immersive, “has committed to ensuring the safest operators and invest heavily in advanced technologies for the most effective and efficient operations.

“Based on the continued results achieved, product reliability and support received, by the West Bokaro Division, the Tata Iron Ore site, Noamundi, will soon be utilizing Komatsu 785-7 haul truck, Hitachi EX1200-6 excavator and Komatsu WA900 wheel loader simulators.”

The West Bokaro Division purchased its original simulator in 2002 and still achieves impressive business improvements.

“More than 14 years later our simulators continue to deliver the training results for which we’ve become known. Repeat customers are a testimony to the reputation we’ve spent more than 20 years building and we value the trust Tata has put in us to provide operator training solutions in India,” says David Anderson, Executive Vice President – Sales and Support, Immersive Technologies.

Tata Iron Ore – Noamundi will soon be using Komatsu haul truck, Hitachi excavator and Komatsu wheel loader simulators along with Briefing, Debriefing and Live Session Display, SimMentor, and a Custom Mine Site which is a replica of the actual working site for its training program from Immersive Technologies.
