Recently at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, Hemisphere GNSS introduced its A326 Rugged Smart Antenna. Purpose-built for harsh machine control environments, A326 adds another system component and empowers heavy equipment manufacturers to deliver their own machine control and guidance solutions to their customers.
Designed to excel in challenging environments, the multi-frequency, multi-GNSS A326 uses Hemisphere’s powerful Athena™ RTK engine and is Atlas® L-band capable. A326 is equipped with internal memory for data logging, download, and upload, and offers an on-board Wi-Fi hotspot.
The addition of the easy-to-use webUI for quick and customized configurations makes the A326 one of the most versatile smart antennas available, the company claims.
“When we designed this product, we targeted the highest-level user experience in terms of performance and flexibility,” says José Briceño, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Product Marketing. “We also considered other areas such as connectivity and customer service experience. The result is the most advanced and intelligent way of enabling customers to use high-accuracy GNSS in demanding scenarios.”
Hemisphere’s Atlas web portal empowers A326 users to manage their Atlas-ready devices, enable functionality, and access Atlas accuracy subscriptions from meter to sub-decimeter levels.
Hemisphere says it is providing “the world’s first full system OEM positioning solution toolkit” for building complete machine control and guidance systems with the announcement of the GradeMetrix™ application software and an array of compatible GNSS hardware components.
These include IronOne Rugged Display & Computer, C321 RTK Base & Rover with SiteMetrix™ Site Management Software, Vector VR500 Rugged All-in-One Smart Antenna, and Vector VR1000 Rugged GNSS Receiver.
Hemisphere GNSS is an innovative technology company that designs and manufactures high-precision positioning products. It holds numerous patents and other intellectual property and sells globally with several leading product and technology brands including Athena™, Atlas®, Crescent®, Eclipse™, and Vector™ for high-precision applications.
