Terex Minerals Processing Systems has announced that Terex Minerals Processing Systems Wheel Plants are being designed and manufactured at the Hosur facility based at Sipcot Industrial Complex in Hosur, India. These products are now to be distributed to not only in India but the rest of Asia, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. Jaideep Shekhar, Executive Director, Materials Processing India, said: “The wheeled plants have been designed and manufactured at our Hosur facility for nearly two years now but we are excited at the opportunity that this range has now been expanded and we have the ability to export globally.”
The company says that the wheeled plants combine the rugged reliability of the Terex MPS Jaw, Cone and VSI crushers with high-stroke vibrating grizzly feeders and efficient durable inclined screens. The result is high production portable crushing and screening machines. The Terex WJ1175, WC1000, WC1300 and WV2000 wheeled plants are suitable for working in many different crushing spreads and will handle almost any material including extremely hard abrasives. Terex Wheeled Plants are all electric plants, which can easily tie into new or existing primary, secondary, territory and quaternary crushing applications. Iron ore mining is a key focus market in India.
The salient features of the Terex Wheel Plants are mobile design with one of the industry’s best set up times, a robust two bearing, four deck screen on board the Cone and VSI chassis gives flexibility to take four screen products. Over spill chutes are designed to guide the cone chamber feed box spillage onto the conveyor, there-by reducing the wastage and requirements of manpower for clearing. With hydraulic CSS adjustment on jaw crusher and System 2-PLC control for cone crusher as standard, a fixed shaft cone crusher for better shape end products, the company states that the wheeled plants have the capability to produce large product stockpile capacities. A removable wheel bogies give the flexibility of proper storage of the wheeled bogie for future use.
