Australian Radio Towers (ART) will launch a trailer-mounted mast specifically designed for rapid-deploy communications within the mining industry at AIMEX. “The mast can be used in any location where short-term and temporary communications structures are required,” said Managing Director Andrew Price. With a height of up to 30 m –or custom designed to be taller if required –the system can be erected within a few hours and can be removed in a similar timeframe. “Mounted on a dual-wheel 2.4 x 5 m trailer bed, with mast options available from 120 to 550 m and manual or hydraulic hoisting options, this product is unlike any on the market today,” said Price.
“Coupled with an ART complete communications system, this package will almost instantly provide a solution for mine site communications requirements.” ART is one of the leading mast and tower manufacture and installation companies in Australia: “We have extensive experience in the radio tower and high access rigging industry throughout Australia and internationally. We provide design, manufacture, supply and installation services for a wide range of products, including guyed masts, free-standing radio towers, trailer-mounted quick deploy masts, communication systems and communication huts.” The company started building radio masts and towers in 1973 and has performed over 4,000 installations, including masts from nearly every manufacturer in Australia.
