Posted on 7 Oct 2013

Russian mining equipment company Uralmash recently shipped a primary gyratory crusher of model KKD 1500/180 to ENRC’s Sokolovsko-Sarbaiskiy iron ore mining and processing production association in Rudniy, Kazakhstan. It is the second of three crushers that Uralmash is producing for the company in Kazakhstan with the first crusher having been shipped in June 2013. The KKD 1500/180 crushers are being used in the development of the new Kacharskiy deposit. The crusher can handle 1,900 m3 per hour, with a finished product of <350 mm. The equipment will be used for in-pit mine crushing.

These KKD 1500/180 models include high-altitude automated maintenance and grease systems and a PLC-based drive control system. “Uralmash has great experience of working with enterprises in Kazakhstan and we have got an order for these new machines in highly competitive conditions with foreign suppliers. We offered the best price and delivery terms along with exceeding their engineering needs versus foreign products”, noted General Director of Uralmash, Andrey Saltanov.

Sokolovsko-Sarabaiskiy mining and processing production association is incorporated in ENRC group and is the largest iron ore mining and processing enterprise in Kazakhstan. Sokolovsko-Sarbaiskiy consists of the Sokolovskiy, Sarbaiskiy, Kacharskiy and Kurzhunkulskiy open casts, Sokolovskaya mine, dolomite mines, ore-preparation and palletising complexes.
