ITRI International Tin Conference 2018 in Budapest

ITRI has announced a detailed provisional speaker program for its upcoming International Tin Conference in Budapest, Hungary, April 23-25, 2018. Some speakers and companies on the list are yet to be confirmed.

As the conference is being held in Europe for the first time in over a decade, ITRI will be offering important insights into pressing concerns and challenges for European consumers and traders, particularly with regard to responsible tin supply. A special session on the Responsible Tin Supply Chain on the afternoon of 24 April will mix presentations and panel discussions with industry insiders and NGOs, covering issues like what the big brands want, a code of conduct for responsible producers, conflict minerals auditing and due diligence requirements,

Other speakers will comprehensively cover tin market trends in China, Indonesia, South America and Africa, while insight on tin mine project development and new ore processing technologies will provide a glimpse at the potential future for tin supply. The outlook for tin consumption in existing and emerging applications will also be presented

Many of the leading companies and organisations in the tin business are already confirmed participants and we expect to add more over the coming weeks. Delegates can also be sure that ITRI’s own staff will deliver full coverage of the industry and their views on the future trends for supply, demand and prices, providing a basis for them to make up their own minds on the long-term industry outlook.
