Doofor’s new DF800S drifter launched as demand rises

Doofor says “the DF800S represents unparalleled torque, strength, and durability.” It is robust and weights 229 kg. The DF800S rock drill is also “full of state-of-the-art technology.” With up to 25 kW power, it is ideal for drilling large holes up to 127 mm.

The DF800S launched recently has been designed to drill efficiently and reliably under challenging conditions. This model includes a hydraulic cushioning that protects the drill from recoil impact. New technology shields the drill, making it even more durable and efficient. The DF800S also has a patented distribution valve ensuring optimised oil flow and efficient drilling as well as minimising the parts that need maintenance.

The rock drill has a separate flushing box, and the flushing media used can be water or air. An Extractor feature prevents the drill bit jamming when pulled out. The overall modular structure of the drill enables simple and easy maintenance. The drifter can be equipped with a T38, T45 or T51 shank adapters.

The company has expanded its facilities as demand for its versatile drifters has risen. Doofor says it mission “is to always provide the industry’s most performing and durable drilling equipment with the latest technology. To stay in the top of the field in future, we have expanded our premises during the past summer. We now have even better assembly and testing facilities, storage facilities, as well as social and business meeting facilities.”
