Rail-Veyor confirms major new order for Kazzinc Dolinny mine

Rail-Veyor Technologies Global Inc recently (RVTG)  announced that it has signed a License and Service Agreement with Kazzinc, one of the largest and most innovative mining organisations in Kazakhstan. This agreement allows Kazzinc and RVTG to work together to manufacture, install and operate a new Rail-Veyor® material handling system at Kazzinc’s Dolinny mine. The attached image shows part of the Rail-Veyor system installed at Agnico-Eagle’s Goldex Deep 1 operation.

The 3.8 km mostly underground system will be part of Kazzinc’s mining operations to move gold ore from the mine to any of three different stockpiles located on the surface. Plans are for the system to be operational in January of 2021. The new order was covered in detail in the February 2020 issue of IM following a visit to Dolinny by Editorial Director Paul Moore in 2019. See bit.ly/2Pj1who to read this article in full.

“We are overjoyed at Kazzinc’s decision allowing us to provide our Rail-Veyor® technology as a new material haulage solution for them,” says Jim Fisk, Executive Chairman for Rail-Veyor. “This system will provide significant savings while being in line with Kazzinc’s environmentally-friendly strategy. Rail-Veyor’s successful implementation is expected to open the door for expanding mining operations and additional installations.”
