XCMG marks shipment of second batch of super-large mining graders to China Energy

Recently a ceremony was held to mark the completion of the second batch of XCMG GR5505 super-large mining graders at its manufacturing base in Xuzhou for customer China Energy. The machines are being sent to two opencast coal operations, where they will make their contributions to the building of nationally important mines.

XCMG says sales of its super-large mining graders hit high levels in 2019 when the first machines were delivered to China Energy. “With the marketing in the early stage, XCMG, based on its brand strength and the outstanding performance of GR5505, won all domestic orders of super-large mining graders, which consolidates its absolute leading role in the domestic market.” XCMG graders delivered on the second batch this time it says were selected once again among a selection of numerous imported brands by a China Energy subsidiary as they are satisfied with the performance of the GR5505 units delivered the first time around by XCMG’s aftersales services.

Guided by its product strategy of “high end, high quality, high added value and large tonnage,” XCMG says it has carved a path of industrial accumulation and technical innovation through independent R&D. “With constant breakthroughs, XCMG has also achieved disruptive upgrading for the mining grader in the aspects of technological advancement and adaptation to working conditions. The GR5505 not only fills the gap for super-large grader at home, but XCMG says has also been assessed as a international leading equipment line by the China Machinery Industry Federation.

The new generation of the GR5505 grader features upgraded power performance, is easier to operate and repair, safer, and adapts better to low temperatures, plus its operating costs and risks during the whole life cycle are greatly reduced. XCMG says it actively explores both domestic and foreign markets and strengthens “inter-connectivity” with large domestic mining enterprises, with its products widely distributed in coal mining regions such as Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Tibet.

“At the same time, XCMG products continuously appear in foreign high-end mining markets. Working in Australia, Russia, Indonesia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and other high-end markets, XCMG mining graders withstand the test of different environment from ‘extreme cold’ to ‘burning hot’ and working conditions of any kind, showing the great power of Chinese manufacturing.”
