EACON is scaling up operations at the Zhahanaoer coal mine with a new 100 truck deployment –  bringing the autonomous fleet to 135 trucks, the largest in Inner Mongolia.

This expansion builds on the strong foundation laid from 2024, where SPIC, its contractor, and EACON launched the region’s first autonomous fleet at the same site. Despite challenging conditions such as soft rock formations and seasonal water accumulation, EACON’s solutions have proven highly adaptable. The initial 17 trucks operated incident-free for over 750,000 km and demonstrated solid operational performance – setting the stage for large-scale adoption.
