SNC-Lavalin broadens mining offering with MDH Engineering acquisition

snc.JPGLeading mining EPCM and consulting group, SNC-Lavalin, has reinforced its mining environmental expertise with the acquisition of MDH Engineered Solutions, an engineering consulting and research firm based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In business since 1980, MDH Engineered Solutions provides geo-environmental, geotechnical, hydrogeological and environmental engineering consulting services to the mining sector and other heavy industries. The firm has approximately 175 permanent employees working in offices in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert and Esterhazy in Saskatchewan; and in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta.
