RUS Mining showing new underground prototypes at AIMEX

aimex-rus-trak.jpgRUS Mining Services will unveil a new range of underground equipment on Stand R117 during AIMEX, September 6-9. The new range, which signals a new direction for the company, will see three prototype machines on display:

  • RUS man transporter, featuring an innovative new design and the latest Tier 3 electronic state-of-the-art engine package
  • RUS Trak – an air/hydraulic crawler drill rig fitted with a cable bolt insertion system
  • SC15/111 shuttle car being developed in conjunction with SANY Heavy Equipment.

Headquartered in the Hunter Valley, RUS Mining Services was established last year following the change of ownership and corporate restructure of underground mining services company, ResCo Underground Services. RUS Mining was now equipped with a strengthened management and ownership team and had expanded beyond its traditional contracting role in a new direction with a new range of underground equipment and services, RUS Mining spokesman Ryan Walters said.

“RUS Mining will be sharing our vision for the future with the launch of these three prototype machines at AIMEX,” he said.
