Hagenbuch technology licensed to Hitachi Construction Machinery

1-specbody.jpgPhilippi-Hagenbuch and Hitachi Construction Machinery/the HCM Group, which includes Hitachi Truck Manufacturing Co and Wenco International Mining Systems have expanded their existing license agreement to include collection of real-time data. The original license agreement from January 2000 between the two companies encompasses various vehicle management systems patents. According to the website, “Wenco provides sophisticated fleet management systems for open pit mines worldwide to accurately record equipment activity, location, time and production information. The system provides automatic dispatching to maximise production while delivering specified ore qualities to blend points in addition to high precision GPS applications for the positioning and guidance of excavators, dozers, and drills.”

Under the agreement, LeRoy G. Hagenbuch grants HCM a nonexclusive, royalty-bearing license in the USA and various other countries to use the technology represented by these patents to produce HCM products covered by these patents.
