Paterson & Cooke Consulting Engineers in South Africa has restructured its local operations. Paterson & Cooke Consulting Scientists (Pty) is no longer part of the Paterson & Cooke group of companies and now operates as ViettiSlurrytec (Pty).

Paterson & Cooke is a global company with nine offices operating on five continents and is a leader in the analysis and design of slurry pipeline systems and associated slurry handling technologies.

Paterson & Cooke offers the full range of engineering design and slurry characterisation test work that includes thickening, mine backfill and slurry flow behaviour tests from its Cape Town office. It has recently extended services to include process expertise from its new Centurion office which focuses on optimizing existing flotation and dewatering circuits, as well as the management and execution of on-site upgrades and modifications.
