Geosoft awarded ESRI Business Partner of the Year

Geosoft, a leader in geoscience software and solutions, was selected by ESRI as a 2007 Business Partner of the Year.  The award is presented each year to a select group of ESRI business partners worldwide in recognition of outstanding contributions to the geographic information systems (GIS) industry and to the success of the ESRI Business Partner Program.

The partnership between Geosoft and ESRI leverages Geosoft’s industry experience and robust workflows for managing and analyzing large earth datasets within ESRI’s GIS platform. Geosoft’s innovative Target for ArcGIS software is a subsurface geology extension to ArcGIS which simplifies and extends visualization and analysis of subsurface drillhole and borehole data within ESRI’s GIS environment.

A new collaboration announced by both companies in March this year, will focus on the delivery of integrated software and data management solutions for the global mining and geosciences sector.  The collaboration will result in a scalable and interoperable software platform that improves the availability and integration of geoscientific data for successful earth exploration and discovery.
