Posted on 24 May 2007

Padley & Venables, the manufacturer of tools for use in construction, rock drilling and mining worldwide, celebrated its 10th Consecutive participation at the Bauma 2007 exhibition. The company also celebrated the 10th year of opening its German office/warehouse facility. P&V first participated at the 1980 Bauma show, which was then located at the old showgrounds in the centre of Munich.

“We participated as part of the British Group of companies organised by the F.M.C.E.C. Group as it was called in those days – now known as C.E.A. Group.” stated David Goodison, P&V’s Marketing & Publicity Manager who organized the first stand in 1980 and who has subsequently organised the stand and attended each Bauma show since, culminating with the 2007 show. “After 39 years at P&V, I have seen the change-over from the old showground venue in the centre of the city, to the magnificent state of the art new showgrounds which offer exhibitors superb facilities for participation at Bauma.”
