World debut for Joy at AIMEX

Joy Mining Machinery will have the worldwide launch of its automated-bolting unit on Stand 110 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007. According to the company, this new concept will revolutionise underground mining roof bolting practices.

Also on display will be the following Joy products:

A Stamler BF14 feeder breaker, part of the company’s range of feeder-breakers for both surface and underground mining operations
A Joy 10SC32 BC shuttle car, powered by Joy’s patented OPTIDRIVE AC variable frequency drive system which integrates electrical, software, electronic and mechanical systems, delivering increased production, reduced maintenance requirements and improved manoeuvrability and control
A JOY Shield/Plough, gathering system designed for use in mid to high-seam applications, with seam heights over 4.5 m.
Other products on display will include a Joy Powered Roof Support and an armoured face conveyor (AFC) featuring an RS20S control systems simulator. www.joy.com
