Comminution `08 attracts major players

The program for the four-day Comminution `08 conference, which will be held in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK, from June 17-20, is now available at www.min-eng.com/comminution08. Technical sessions over the four days will cover Understanding Breakage; Primary Comminution; High Pressure Grinding Rolls; Energy Considerations; Modelling & Simulation; Grinding Practice: Fine Grinding; Ultrafine Grinding. The program also includes a tour of the historic Camborne-Redruth copper and tin mining district, the birthplace of modern hard rock mining.

Apart from attracting papers from the world’s big names, the event has the support of major corporate sponsors: JKTech (Australia), PMTJetmill (Austria) and Sigmund Lindner (Germany). Papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of Minerals Engineering. Screening and sizing will be one of the major features in International Mining’s March issue.
