Formsprag Clutch, part of Altra Industrial Motion;  a leading designer, producer and marketer of electromechanical power transmission products, has introduced a new high speed external backstop for inclined conveyors or bucket elevators using a gear reducer with the clutch mounted on the high speed or intermediate shaft. With over 50 years of experience in overrunning and backstopping clutches, Formsprag says it has produced an FHB design that includes inner race centrifugal throw-out sprags and many other market requested features.
