NXbursT products make it possible to work with explosives quickly, safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. NXbursT is a unique alternative to all types of traditional explosives, including high explosives. Since the UN codes 0432 and 1.4S apply to the NXbursT products, they are classed at a lower safety level for carriage, storage and usage. Under European guidelines, this product is not even classed as an explosive, but rather a pyrotechnic article.
This classification is a result of the composition and development of NXbursT cartridges. The product is extremely safe, both for humans and for the environment. Sustainable technology is used both in the manufacture and the use of the cartridges, resulting in lower carbon dioxide emissions. In addition, the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) in Berlin, a leading European institute for knowledge, materials research and testing in the field of explosives, has awarded the product a CE label.
The product works on the principle of deflagration (explosive combustion with the formation of gas). Since no detonation (explosion with a blast wave) occurs, there is a significant reduction in the amount of dust, vibration, air displacement and flyrock.
