Top honours were presented to executives from winning companies attending Mincom’s inaugural Asset Intensive Industry Summit Americas in San Diego, the first event of its kind designed to address the common challenges among all asset-intensive organizations in overcoming barriers to business optimisation and achieving best practices in work and asset management. The 2010 Innovation & Excellence in Asset Management Awards recognised leaders in asset-intensive industries for their successful deployment of innovative business solutions and management practices. Two mining companies were honoured.

To determine winners of the 2010 Innovation & Excellence in Asset Management Awards, Mincom invited individuals, groups and businesses in the mining, public infrastructure, transit and utility sectors to submit nominations for consideration. Winning submissions were chosen based on the development, delivery and deployment of best-in-class business practices and solution implementations.
The event’s Asia Pacific award winners will be announced on November 2 from the Asset Intensive Industry Summit APAC on the Gold Coast of Australia.
