Analyse this! Mintec unveils MineSight Data Analyst Version 2.2

Posted on 26 Nov 2010

Mintec has enhanced its suite of geomodelling tools by introducing an upgraded version of MineSight Data Analyst (MSDA). MSDA v2.2 builds on software that provides comprehensive statistical and geostatistical analysis of drill hole, blasthole, and model data.

Version 2.2 improves the software in the following areas:

  • Chart serialisation is more robust, saving all chart style properties, including chart colour, title and axis label fonts, grid lines and style, axis properties, (such as min, max, step size) and number of decimal places, curve and marker colour, and much more
  • Filtering and expression evaluation are faster, and a single filter tab replaces the Data Source dialog’s Basic and SQL Filtering tabs
  • The Custom Reports user interface is now easier to navigate and the method for creating, removing and editing report dimensions, such as fields, statistics and filters, has been streamlined
  • New screen shots now make the documentation and examples clearer.

Mintec says it will “continue to improve MSDA. Expect MSDA v2.5, featuring a new swathplot tool, by the end of 2010.”
