The latest addition to the product range of P&H Mine Air Systems, a specialist manufacturer of climate-control units (for air conditioning and heating) for use in operator cabs on a wide variety of mining equipment is the remote compressor/condenser (RCC); a mounted 24 V DC compressor and condenser unit. It can replace conventional engine-mounted, belt-driven compressor and condenser arrangements on mobile mining equipment.

The key benefits of the RCC unit are improved air conditioning system performance and equipment uptime. Compared to traditional engine-mounted, belt-driven compressor and condenser arrangements, its maintenance is a lot more cost-effective P&H claims.

The unit is suitable for installation on a wide variety of mobile diesel-powered mining equipment including haul trucks, graders, dozers and wheel loaders.
