The Eurotire Training Center has officially opened its door in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. This facility will act as an educational facility for Eurotire employees and customers alike. Training will include technical, safety, commercial, and industry instruction. The aim of Eurotire’s training center is to further education in the mining industry regarding all OTR related matters. Jack James, a long-time OTR veteran and experienced OTR instructor, has been named Director of the center.

In March 2011, the Eurotire Training Center successfully graduated the first official Eurotire Certified personnel. The training included technical, commercial, and safety instruction, a visit to the Eurotire Ukrainian Factory, and a two-day mine site visit. Eleven Eurotire sales representatives from Ghana, Brazil, Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine attended training. As part of the practical training program, mine site visits were undertaken to large scale mining operations located in the region. During the site visit the trainees were given the chance to apply classroom instruction on safety and technical matters to the real world of mining. Additionally, attendees were given an extensive factory tour of Eurotire’s Ukrainian manufacturing facility.
