PrimatecQDA featuring software for the mining, metals and manufacturing industries at AIMEX

mining_processing.jpgPrimatecQDA will demonstrate technology for operational monitoring, commissioning management and induction management on Stand 4714 during AIMEX, September 6-9. The software from PrimatecQDA’s cognyxSuite of applications will include cognyxMES, which is described as “a complete production intelligence solution”; cognyxCMS, for controlling a project commissioning program and associated documentation and cognyxIMS, a web-based induction management system for tracking contractor and employee details.

cognyxMES includes production and downtime reporting features, decision support, BI (Business Intelligence) cube analysis and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), inventory and quality management, asset health and dashboarding, and environmental and energy management PrimatecQDA general manager (cognyx) Joel Vogt said.

“From the plant floor to the board room and beyond, cognyxMES is ready to provide clarity to operations through an industry-leading combination of live information display, intuitive interfaces and proven data capture techniques,” he said.

“cognyxCMS offers improvements in workforce productivity and quality by structuring workflows and automating record collection.”

Highlights of the system include inspection, test plan and punch-list generation, auto scanning and update of daily results, documentation and drawing management, and progress dashboards and reports.

cognyxIMS can manage site personnel inductions, qualifications and competencies, produce barcoded contractor cards, and provide on-site touchscreen sign-in, sign-out and messaging. A mobile interface also allows access out in the field.

“With cognyxIMS, you can track and be alerted to potential site safety issues before they can occur, cutting down administration time, assuring compliance and delivering a safer work environment,” Vogt said.
