Gemcom Software International has released the latest version of its award-winning Gemcom InSiteTM mine production management solution. InSite records and evaluates data for service, support and production activities from the mine through to saleable product, providing confidence in data accuracy, and visibility into all areas of production. InSite 4.1 assists in improving the day-to-day operating processes of both open-pit and underground mines. Its new Production Calendar module solves challenges relating to the difficulty operations may face with aligning forecast with actual production data. It does this by providing the ability to import or generate one or multiple calendars to map an operation’s yearly calendar. The Production Calendar module, along with other new and enhanced InSite 4.1 product features deliver to mining operations increased scheduling accuracy, data confidence and data security.
“Mining organisations continue to be heavily focused on increasing production, while at the same time lowering costs,” said Charlie Forrest, Product Manager for InSite. “The newest version assists operations in meeting these objectives by providing tools to manage their mine production data faster and more accurately, while the Production Calendar module provides significant time savings and increased scheduling efficiency.”
Additional InSite 4.1 benefits include:
Ease-of-use enhancements to the Data Entry module, including a new user interface, make additions and updates faster and more intuitive
Extended data validation capabilities include the ability to handle extensive validation of location types, equipment types, and material types, ensuring data is clean and meets business rules.
