Mining automation – Actuant Corp acquires CrossControl

cc.pngActuant has completed the acquisition of CrossControl. Actuant is a $1.6 billion diversified industrial company with operations in more than 30 countries, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, US. CrossControl will operate within the Maxima Technologies business, part of Actuant’s Engineered Solutions segment. Maxima Technologies is a leading global supplier of severe-duty electronic instrumentation including displays and clusters, machine controls and sensors for customers requiring highly engineered solutions.CrossControl is a supplier of highly advanced control system solutions for industrial vehicles in industries like mining. It supplies products and services to leading vehicle OEMs like John Deere, Atlas Copco, Cargotec and Bombardier Transportation. The product portfolio includes ruggedised and advanced displays, main controllers and I/O controllers. The largest share of revenue comes from solutions for Human Machine Interaction, based on the company’s CCpilot display computing product platform.
