Altra Industrial Motion brands Wichita Clutch, Twiflex Ltd, Formsprag Clutch, Marland Clutch, Industrial Clutch, TB Wood’s, Bauer Gear Motor, Ameridrives Couplings, Huco Dynatork, Bibby Turboflex, Lamiflex Couplings, Nuttall Gear, Delroyd Worm Gear and Boston Gear are all exhibiting their latest product lines in Booths #726 and #729 at MINExpo 2012. Altra states: “Visitors will be able to learn about Altra’s broad offering of products which meet the specific power transmission and motion control requirements of all types of mining, quarry and material handling equipment.”

Twiflex Ltd will be featuring a number of new products to complement its modular brake range, including the VBS, VCSD and VKSD-VR. Formsprag, Marland and Stieber Clutch have the widest range of backstops, including over 30 low speed designs with torque capacities up to 1,626,000 NM (1,200,000 lb ft), and will be showcasing products from this line at the Altra booth. Altra brands will also be highlighting “product solutions that can be applied to improve efficiency, productivity and safety in mining operations” from heavy-duty brakes for draglines and electric rope shovels to caliper brakes and disc couplings on winders and ventilation fans. The companies of Altra Industrial Motion are leaders in braking, engaging, overrunning, gearing, and load transmitting products.

Additionally, visitors to the booths will be able to learn about the Altra mining product supply chain throughout the world, including locations in China and Asia Pacific, Australia, Europe, South America, South Africa, and North America.
