Proven treatment process for mine waste waters

Posted on 28 Jan 2013

KASELCO says it “has a proven water treatment process that will save more than 50% in treatment cost and reduce sludge volumes by up to 60% when compared to traditional methods.” Its technology uses electricity and sacrificial plates to treat your waste source. Sludge from the EC (electrocoagulation) system is chemically inert in most waters and will pass TCLP leachate tests. The EC System dramatically reduces both sludge volume and compliance issues that are becoming increasingly more stringent in the mining industry.

KASELCO further reports that with its EC system, “typical consumable cost for the mining industry is about $1,200.00 to treat one million gallons of water. That means that you could be reducing your overall wastewater treatment cost by 50%.”
