Weir Minerals has increased support to its growing customer base in Poland by launching its first service centre at the strategically located Leszno. The town in west Poland is well placed for road transport infrastructure and allows fast access to customer locations across the country. The site will hold strategic stock to minimise delivery times for replacement parts and is a convenient site for off-site repair and maintenance by a team of engineers, permanently based at the centre.

Weir Minerals’ key customers in Poland include copper producer KGHM, as well as the Rybnik, Patnow and Belchatow power stations and chemical and fertiliser producer ZA Pulawy.
