Mintec will release MineSight Atlas, a manual scheduling and stockpile management system in June. MineSight provides a resource-based, true calendar approach to scheduling, and manages all material movement and reclaim. It uses multiple block models and makes mine areas for open pit and underground mining easy to mange.

The ability to route material through a network of destinations distinguishes Atlas from the competition, says Wylde. “Imagine the material being extracted from your underground stope or from your pit and then routing it to a series of destinations. Atlas allows you this incredible flexibility of establishing your whole destination network, of giving the schedule opening stocks for stockpiles, and then the ability to route material, to crushers, to bulk material, to stockpiles, and then reclaim from them, and even the ability to auto-reclaim from stockpiles, to meet targets at the crusher.”

Mintec’s flagship product, MineSight 3D has been designed to work with Atlas, integrating the design, the reserves, the animation and the visualization of the product. Atlas is also integrated with MineSight Haulage. So when scheduling, users who have designed a network of haulage profiles can automatically calculate their equipment cycle times and report them inside Atlas. It’s all supported by MineSight Planning Database for secure data management. MineSight Atlas also has a true activity and calendar based scheduler.
