ESCO brings Wear Management to service site in Middelburg, South Africa

ESCO, a global provider of wear parts and attachments for the mining industry has a new service site in Middelburg, South Africa. ESCOs Wear Management suite of products and services are available at this new supply site. Wear Management marries ESCO’s proven mining products with the expertise of its service technicians. This offering starts with Wearcheck 360 in which ESCO provides a full evaluation of a customer’s operation and then provides a range of services and products to solve any deficiencies.

The Wear Management program at Middelburg has been tailored for customers in the surrounding mining cluster. Some of the products in the Wear Management toolkit include ESCO Kwik-Lok II runners, bimetallic buttons and blocks, crusher wear liners and accessories, and truck bodies for rock, overburden and coal. The Middelburg site also offers a mobile service truck that allows ESCO technicians to provide service or maintenance work at a customer’s location, reducing costly downtime. The all-terrain truck includes on-board electrical generation to power up to five welding machines, compressed air supply, specialized welding and cutting gasses, portable line boring and automated bore welding equipment, and a 12-ton crane.
