TerraSource Global has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to supply a crushing and screening system to Uralkali at one of its potash processing plants in Russia. The system will include three Gundlach brand crushers, three screens from sister company Rotex and other process equipment provided as part of a package. Terrasource stated: “Uralkali expects to improve production efficiencies through better crushing capabilities and improved screening efficiency maximising their potash production. Uralkali has recognised both TerraSource Global and Rotex as leaders in this industry for this type of equipment.”
“This is the beginning of what we expect will be a long and happy relationship with Uralkali,” said Sam Farman, Director, CIS, TerraSource Global. “We have been working closely with Uralkali over the last couple of years, and have demonstrated how our TerraSource Global and Rotex equipment can improve their process through better crushing and screening efficiency.” TerraSource Global supports the Russian market out of its office located in Moscow and provides technical engineering, service and spare parts support to the region.
The group also recently announced that it is expanding its Belleville, Illinois manufacturing facility, investing $5.1 million and increasing its workforce by 12 %. TerraSource Global is constructing a new 9,000 ft2 building near its current plant to accommodate office space, training areas and meeting rooms. Site preparation began in early May with the project slated to be completed by October 2013. TerraSource Global, formerly known as Gundlach Equipment Corp, has been in Belleville since the 1920s.
