Mineral Engineering Technical Services (METS) has a acquired AA Wilkie Consulting Engineers, a leading provider of civil and structural engineering services for commercial, industrial and domestic clients. The news follows just nine months after METS acquired CDMS Consulting Engineers and the recent integration of the two brands under the Midas Engineernig Group brand. Damian Connelly, Director/Principal Engineering Consultant at METS said “Our strategic intent is to expand our offering of engineering services beyond the current and across a variety of new sectors. In addition to organic growth we have chosen to acquire AA Wilkie as it will strengthen our business and support our vision”
METS is a Perth-based independent specialist consulting group that provides a range of services including, mineral processing, engineering design, training and specialist services to the mining industry.

AA Wilkie Consulting Engineers has been providing engineering services across structural and civil projects to industrial, commercial and domestic clients. Their civil engineering expertise encompasses subdivisional work including town planning, roads, bridges, railways, water supplies, drainage, sewage, pump stations and earthworks. Structural works include industrial and commercial developments as well as domestic and residential engineering services.
AA Wilkie will trade as Wilkie Civil Engineering in the future and continue to work on its existing projects and maintain its commitment to delivering quality service to their clients. Moving forward, METS, Wilkie and CDMS intend to work together on projects under the Midas Engineering Group brand, pooling together their vast experience and expertise. “We aim to provide complementary service offerings that will provide great opportunities for both companies.” states Connelly.
