Paste seminar returns to Canada

Posted on 15 Aug 2013

Organised every year since 1999, the Paste seminar series seeks to disseminate the latest advancements in the field of paste and thickened tailings technology by providing a forum to present the work that is being done in the field, and obtain feedback from practitioners working at mine sites worldwide. For many years International Mining has been the international media partner of the event. The next seminar will take place in Vancouver, Canada, a major hub for mining in North America and a home to many mining companies that focus much of their activity on the development of sustainable tailings management practices at their operations. Vancouver also hosts a large number of consulting companies engaged in developing designs and implementation plans for tailings management projects around the world.

Paste 2014 will be a truly international examination of tailings practices with emphasis on stacking with paste or filtered tailings. www.paste2014.com
