On September 25, Belarussian mining truck manufacturer BELAZ held a customer event and conference with the theme “Be proud of the present – invest into the future” to celebrate the company’s 65th anniversary. The event, held at the main factory of OJSC BELAZ in Zhodino, Belarus, had over 300 participants from 25 countries, including not just delegates from CIS countries but from all over the world.

The first major showing of the new 75710 450 t capacity truck at the testing ground area was a highlight of the event, but it also included displays of the robotised mining dump truck, the 75131, which has a 130 t payload capacity and the 75581, a 90 t payload capacity model with electromechanical transmission.

Earlier in September, BELAZ participated in a special Belarussian-Mongolian business forum in Ulan Bator where a 55 t 7555B truck was displayed. During the event, an agreement was signed for the delivery to Mongolia of six 220 t mining trucks along with spare parts, with a total value over $10 million. BELAZ states that Mongolian customers are well acquainted with its product range, with over 180 of its mining trucks operating in Mongolia from 30 t up to 220 t at iron ore, coal and copper mines amongst others.
