PHIL expands reach of rear eject technology with CeDe agreement

Philippi-Hagenbuch (PHIL) signed a licensing agreement with CeDe Group of Malmö, Sweden that commenced in December 2013. Under the terms of the partnership, PHIL is licensing its Rear Eject Technology for use in off-highway body applications within the construction and mining sectors to CeDe for use in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Rear Eject Bodies manufactured under this licensing agreement by CeDe and shipping into Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be branded as CeDe products, while bodies shipped into Australia will be branded under the PHIL brand name.

Josh Swank, PHIL Vice President of Sales and Marketing stated: “The CeDe Group is an outstanding company that engineers and manufactures a diverse line of equipment for the construction and mining industries. Because of its close proximity to the Port of Malmö and close co-operation with Volvo CE, CeDe is able to build customised equipment for Volvo CE products, install its products on the prime machines and ship them as a turn key solution direct to the dealer or end user globally. This agreement will help PHIL expand into the European, Middle East and African markets with our rear eject bodies, and it will help CeDe further expand into customised articulated hauler solutions.”
