New technology now allows remote monitoring and fuel supply management at the touch of a mouse. With this technology available to all, SEI Industries, through a relationship with Varec, maker of the military TacFuels monitoring system, is the first manufacturer to integrate fuel monitoring capabilities into its premium Arctic, Desert and Jungle King series of collapsible bladder tanks – a popular choice for companies operating in remote locations.
The monitoring system consists of data collection units, flow meters and fuel gauges along with a mobile laptop and rugged handheld computers which operate proprietary software.
Using the remote monitoring system, companies can add value and safety to their fuel caches by:
