Sepro Mineral Systems has introduced the Sepro Pump equipment line for the mining, aggregate, chemical and industrial sectors. The company said that in line with Sepro’s vision of becoming a single source supplier of modular plant solutions, “this powerful new line of pumps for dewatering, slurry, mineral froth, tank and various sump applications provides high abrasion resistance for medium to heavy-duty slurry transfer.”
Mill discharge, mineral concentrate, course or fine tailings and aggregates are key applications for the continuous duty Sepro Pump range. Each Sepro Pump model has various materials of construction available including chrome, rubber, and the newly developed SH46 material for enhanced wear protection. Inventory of ready-to-ship units are being held at Sepro’s corporate headquarters in Langley, British Columbia with plans to also hold inventory at Sepro Mineral Systems Ltd (Ghana) in the near future. The first order for Sepro Heavy Duty Slurry Pumps has been placed by Ressources Appalaches for the Dufferin Mines Project in eastern Canada.
The Sepro Slurry Pumps range includes the HD and MD models. Sepro’s Horizontal Slurry Pumps are heavy and medium duty “suitable for a variety of challenging applications.” Maintenance is simplified with a split casing design on larger models. The cantilever Sepro Froth/Tank Pumps include the VF and VT models, “designed for smooth operation and ease of maintenance” are deisgned to optimise a variety of on-site processes. In addition to these two lines are the Sump (HD-SP and MD-TV models), which “offer excellent wear endurance for a diverse range of applications and are simple to install on site. The cantilever design allows for simple installation without the risk of submerged bearings due to the protective sealing arrangement.” The offering also includes the Sepro Froth/Tank Pumps (VF and VT models) and Fluid Process Pumps (FP model).
