Roobuck has released its state of the art LED headlight/work light – Bucklite, which is especially designed for underground mining vehicles. It has a brass enclosure and LED light source in a flameproof casing. It is under IECEx certification by TestSafe.

Bucklite is designed for the most rigorous underground coal mining environment. Based on Roobuck LED light, mining equipment and explosion-proof expertise, this headlight achieves, the company says, “outstanding performance the coal mining industry has never seen. It features low temperature, three light modes, heavy duty brass enclosure, IP67 ingress protection, high light output with 24 high efficient Cree LED lights.”

The internal temperature is constantly monitored by temperature sensors and the power will be reduced whenever the temperature exceeds the specified level and therefore the low temperature of the enclosure is reliably maintained.
