High Horsepower Summit agenda features LNG in mining breakout session

Posted on 13 Jun 2014

Gladstein, Neandross & Associates (GNA), the organisers of the 2014 High Horsepower (HHP) Summit, where IM will be distributed, has released the agenda for the third annual event taking place October 7-9 at the Ernest N Morial Convention Centre in New Orleans. Bringing together more than 1,500 natural gas stakeholders, HHP Summit is North America’s “largest, best attended, and most comprehensive conference focusing on the economic and environmental benefits of natural gas for high horsepower operations”, including those in mining, and the event incorporates a breakout session on LNG in mining operations.
“North American shale gas continues to present multiple high horsepower industry segments with a ‘triple crown’ opportunity to significantly reduce fuel costs, improve environmental performance, and comply with important air quality regulations,” said Erik Neandross, CEO at GNA. “Our consulting firm is working on a number of market development and deployment initiatives with HHP stakeholders throughout North America, and we’ve put together this year’s HHP Summit agenda to really address the current challenges and opportunities that exist in these markets. Our goal is to share our inside perspective with end users from each HHP sector and provide them with resources and connections needed to implement their own projects.”

With a focus on peer-to-peer learning, HHP Summit 2014 will feature three days of end-user case studies on current natural gas pilot demonstrations and evaluations, allowing attendees to hear key lessons learned, project economics, technology used, and plans for the road ahead. In addition, the industry’s leading fuelling, engine and technology experts will share the latest technology solutions available today and in development, as well as their perspective on the future of natural gas in HHP operations around the world. Attendees will also have access to an expo hall featuring the largest display to date of the wide range of fuelling, equipment, engine, technology and other products now available in the marketplace.  Off-site technical tours to natural gas project facilities in the New Orleans area will also be offered, as will be hosted peer-to-peer networking events throughout the week.
