Great progress in soil stabilisation in 2014

Posted on 26 Dec 2014

Soilworks, a leader in dust control and soil stabilisation technology, is relocating its world headquarters to Scottsdale, Arizona. It says the new location will help the company focus its energies more on its core business areas such as mining.  “This is a natural progression for our company and one that we’re excited to make,” said Chad Falkenberg, founder of Soilworks.”It caps off one of the best years our company has ever had.” Falkenberg said the company’s production facility, which is home to its large-scale heavy industrial production plant, construction facility, equipment yard, warehouse and 26-car rail-spur, will remain in Chandler.

“For us, the move to Scottsdale allows us to be more centrally located for clients, employees and future expansion,” he said.

It’s been an eventful year for Soilworks, which saw itself become the only company to have a synthetic copolymer pass the rigorous standards of the highly coveted and prestigious Certificate of Conformity from BNQ for its eco-friendly formula. The certification for Soiltac, the flagship product in Soilworks’ dust control and soil stabilisation suite of products, joined the company’s other key product, Durasoil, as the industry’s only suite of non-corrosive, eco-friendly and highly effective dust control products to pass BNQ.

“It was further proof of the strict standards that we hold ourselves to every day,” Falkenberg said of the BNQ certifications for Soiltac and Durasoil. “Our mission is to always ensure that our customers receive the best products available on the market. These certifications demonstrated that.”

Certification by BNQ is an exacting process that requires complete transparency and top-tier products that can hold up to rigid testing protocols. Last year, Durasoil became the first synthetic fluid dust suppressant ever to be awarded the highly coveted BNQ certification for its superior eco-friendly formula.

The company also launched a re-designed website in 2014. According to Falkenberg, the new website allows for a more transparent and informative way to approach the dust control industry, with great care taken by the Soilworks team to ensure that all relevant information was included in the site. Since the company has always strived to produce the highest quality, best performing dust control products on the market, it was important that the new website also reflect that mission, Falkenberg said. “We want our customers to access our content in the most intuitive way possible, each time they visit the website,” he said.

Soilworks provides engineered solutions to meet the broad needs of the dust control and soil stabilisation industry. Soilworks’ performance-driven portfolio of industry-leading products include Soiltac®, Powdered Soiltac®, Gorilla-Snot® and Durasoil®.
