Hexagon Mining this week held MineQuest 2015, its global user event series, in Tucson, Arizona. The vision of an integrated, life-of-mine solution for the industry was at the heart of President, Hélio Samora’s opening address to MineQuest attendees. “We are integrating products across mine planning, mine operations, and mine safety, and making those products easy to buy, implement, and support,” said Samora. “Simplicity is at the core of smart change, not just in the elegance of our products, but also in the way we deliver those products to our customers. By developing the synergies within Hexagon Mining, we are channeling more than 100 years of combined experience and expertise into a life-of-mine solution.”

MineQuest, a staple with users of Hexagon Mining’s MineSight product suite for more than 30 years, now features additional Hexagon Mining technologies, such as the Leica Jigsaw, SmartMine|UG, and SAFEmine product suites. The Tucson event showcases new technology – business intelligence and analytics solution, HxM Athena, and drill and blast management solution, HxM Blast. Other product enhancements were covered during a busy five days of workshops, presentations, and one-on-one consultation.

The company stated that MineQuest 2015 accelerates the momentum that’s been building since Hexagon Mining’s launch in February 2015 at the Mining Indaba and SME industry tradeshows. MineQuest continues in Perth, Australia (June 17-19), Swakopmund, Namibia (June 23-25), Hermosillo, Mexico (July 15-17), Lima, Peru (July 20-22) and Santiago, Chile (July 22-24). Hexagon Mining will also join HxGN LIVE, Hexagon’s annual international conferences, in Las Vegas (June 1-4) and Hong Kong (November 18-20).
