Hatch has won four national awards at the 2015 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala held last week in Ottawa, Canada. Hatch, the lead sponsor of the current International Mining Technology Hall of Fame inductions, was honoured with the Tree of Life Award and an Award of Excellence for its innovative, high quality work, and environmental stewardship on the Forrest Kerr 195 MW hydroelectric power project located northwest of Stewart, British Columbia, receiving the highest recognition in Natural Resources, Mining, Industry & Energy category. Hatch and Hatch Mott MacDonald were also honoured with the Outreach Award and an Award of Excellence in the Community Outreach and In-House Initiatives category for their contribution to Canada’s economy, society, and environment.
Now in their 47th year, the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards are considered the highest recognition for excellence in the consulting engineering industry, presented jointly by the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Canada (ACEC) and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine.

Award winners were selected by a panel of 12 independent jurors who have distinguished backgrounds in various sectors of the industry.
