Continental Commercial Specialty Tires has appointed T. Shawn Rasey as new Global Business Development Manager Earthmover. In this role he will be managing the international expansion of all earthmover activities. Rasey brings an extensive background in the earthmover tyre business ranging from sales, marketing, key account management, product planning, manufacturing, and strategy.

Rasey joins Continental after an extensive career spanning more than 36 years in the OTR/earthmover tyre industry, notably as Vice President – Mining Solutions at Bridgestone America and previous positions in the mining tyres business at Bridgestone from 2005-2012, as well as President of BKT Americas OTR Division 2014/2015; and prior to 2005 in a range of other roles including at Yokohama. Rasey holds a Bachelors of Arts degree Management & Human Relations.
