Peck Tech Consulting Ltd recently signed a distribution agreement with Haefeli-Lysnar Geospatial Solutions (HLGS), a leading provider of innovative mining technology in Australia. As a result, HLGS adds the uGPS Rapid Mapper™, a revolutionary mobile 3D scanning system, purpose-built for underground mining environments, to its product portfolio.

For Peck Tech, this represents an important expansion of the distribution territory for the uGPS Rapid Mapper™ product, opening new opportunities for a long list of world-class mining operations and serving to solidify their global market presence overall. The uGPS Rapid Mapper™ system is described as unique in the underground scanning market space. Developed collaboratively by Peck Tech Consulting and other industry partners, this mobile mapping system can be used for a variety of mining applications, such as volume calculations, “will-it-fit” analyses, shaft and raise scanning, old works mapping and rapid development pick-ups.
