Continuing the development from the large ALLU M Series material processing buckets for mining and process industries released in 2014, ALLU has now launched the even larger ALLU G Series for very big carriers in material processing and mining. The aim with the new G- series is to streamline the customer processes and provide an opportunity to new work processes generating remarkable cost savings. The first model released in the G Series, is the ALLU G 4-32F which is designed to be mounted on 300 t front shovel mining excavators.
Instead of just using the excavator for loading of ore containing large quantities of waste rock onto dump trucks in the mining cells, the carrier now screens the ore, while loading at the same time, using the ALLU G 4-32F. In many mining operations, the utilisation of this unique method, makes it possible to leave the majority of waste rock found in the ore at its original location in the mining cell, without ever needing to transport the waste.
“When the waste material or side rock can be left into the mining cell, in its original location, large savings in fuel, transportation equipment wear and tear and transportation equipment maintenance costs will be generated. This way also environmental benefits are materialised and the improvements bring green mining benefits in the true sense of the word.”
ALLU states: “In this process, the excavator is used as a material processor. The combination of the excavator and the bucket is this way turned into a truly mobile heavy processing equipment.” The group says that with mining in mind, this 13 m3 giant, weighing 32 t, has a height of 3.781, width of 4.76 m and depth of 3.746 m, the G Series 4-32F has been built using standards and materials of the highest standard only. As with the ALLU M Series, the ALLU G Series is also equipped with the ALLU DARE data reporting system which enables remote monitoring of the equipment condition and material processing performance via a mobile uplink.
