New Aggreko power plant commissioned at Yanfolila, Mali

Ahead of the January issue special feature on power for mines comes news that Aggreko has fully commissioned the 7.4 MW diesel power facility on site to provide power to the process plant at Hummingbird Resources’ Yanfolila gold mine in Mali. Highlights:

  • 7.4MW facility of installed diesel power at Yanfolila
  • Complete turnkey solution on a seven-year contract
  • Full Aggreko operations and maintenance team on site

  • Modular set up further maximises efficiency.

Aggreko commissioned the 7.4 MW facility of installed power through a series of 1 MW units. Aggreko generators are the most efficient generator in their class and the modular nature of the plant offers greater flexibility and efficiencies.  A full SCADA and PLC automation system links directly into the process plant for seamless delivery of power.  Aggreko is offering a complete turnkey solution on a seven-year contract.  There will be a full Aggreko operations and maintenance team on site for the duration of the contract.
